On this day, 18 years ago, you came into this world.  

Your umbilical cord broke, and you lost at least 1/3 of your blood.

The crash cart and emergency crew suddenly appeared,

You had an Apgar of like, 2 or something.

We thought...

well...you weren't breathing-

just lifeless, blue....

and sooooo quiet.

We all thought...

you were going to leave us.

And then, 

you did....

17 years and 10 months later....

for college.

God is so good.

So now I'm the one who is blue now...

Life here is different...

and sooooo quiet.

I miss my beautiful Autumn Rose.

What a joy to Skype with you tonight!

Soon, our computer hugs will be in person,
