Faith

If you have been reading along here, 

you will know that my brother-in-law (my sister's husband) 

is in the hospital with a genetic lung disease.

The last you knew, Tony was dying away in the hospital.  

Tammy was by his side.

* * *

Well, after a lot of activity:

prayer

texting all day-for days

advice

making phone calls

confusion

sweet and precious moments

sorrow

many, many tears

it seems that FAITH has won.

* * *

Tony is still with us.

PRAISE GOD!!

* * *

I know the Doctor is skeptical

and still saying he doesn't have many days left.

But Tony got up out of bed this morning

to use the restroom.

That must have felt WONDERFUL!!

My sister, Tammy, is always singing.

Tony sang with her today

from the hymn book.

We didn't anticipate this.

But, remember,

 God is in control here. 

My sister believes 

Tony is going to leave the hospital and go to a care home.

She simply has faith.

No, not just "faith"

She has a

STRONG.

FAITH.

IN GOD.

AND...

God IS in control here.

I believe he is 

HONORING 

her simple, child-like 

FAITH

in Him.

Tell your friends and family

you love them.

Be a blessing to someone today.

And if you are struggling with

sadness

despair

defeat

frustration

confusion

remember Tammy's

STRONG AND FIRM FAITH IN GOD.

You can have that.
