We got up before the crack of dawn and got on our way...
We drove straight through to the airport....
Maxing out the SUV at an exhilarating 35 mph through the snow, ice and fog...
We were up--over the pass before we knew it and descending into Seattle.
The parking was easy.
Finding the group we were travelling with was easy.
And then the fun and games were over.
Well, flying is just not as glamourous as it used to be...
we had a loooong lay over in Chicago...
Robbie saw his window of opportunity
to wreak havoc on his liver
and had a Monster...
just wait till his Daddy finds out!
While we were there, the airline entertained us though...
by letting us try out 3 different gates
before someone *ahem* at United got it right!
The last flight was like being in a paper airplane...
but it was for real.
But...HAPPILY...
the wee airplane got itself to land on the ground.
Sound and safe.
We rode the BJU bus to...
well...think about it...
BJU.
This really cute, fun-sized young lady
came to the front door of her dorm
and waved at us on the bus!!
Then, I suddenly remembered!
How could I have FORGOTTEN?!
My kitteh girl is a student here!
Yippee!
So...
Now I am here...
It's about one o'clock in the morning...
(I had to unpack-k?)
and since my presence is requested at breakfast...
and I'm gonna be picked up at 7:50am.
Sharp!
I'm going to git in bed.
Sleep.
