A Quick Trip!!! First Full Day...

After The Boy's welcome breakfast and meeting...
he left for a walking tour of the campus...
ME?
Ooooohhhhhh.....it was
Good Morning Rosie!

Then we walked to chapel...

But first, I had to meet D.

THEN, we walked into chapel.

The chapel speaker was from Camp CoBeAc
he gave an great message reminding us that
*we need to make an effort into other people's lives...
for the cause of Christ.*

Afterwards, Robbie and Rosie saw each other...
and hugged!
Such a sweet moment.

Then, Robbie walked to lunch while
Rosie, D. and I walked to New Testament Messages.

The class is in the middle of studying the book of Acts.
I took copious notes.
I hope to be able to read them when I get home!!

There was one beautiful moment when I suddenly realized
that the gentle background noise in the room
was NOT the air conditioner...
or some type of building hum....
or even a little rain...
but the gentle clicking of many, many fingers typing away on laptops.

Hopefully, Robbie had a good lunch
and then walked to the College Prep Seminar
and walked to experience a class or two...
and even walked to a tour of the Unusual Films
or got a chance to walk to the Art Museum for a tour.
There were many good opportunities today.

After the New Testament Messages class we
walked
with some friends towards Rosie's dorm.

yeah, we walked...

oh! look at that! and walked...

While we walked...
I spent part of the time looking up at the gorgeous blue skies!!

Do you see that nest all the way up there?

I know the berries are out of focus on the bottom right...
but their color is amazing...

Listen!
You'd better be nice to me!
I was
WALKING!
when I took these pictures!

Rosie had a quick Doctor's appointment...
We could have WALKED...
but her NICE roomie drove us there!
and then afterwards, came and got us!

I "helped" Rosie study for a big Speech Class quiz
while we snacked at the Snack Shop for our lunch.

Later on....
We walked to dinner and met up with D. and his sweet sister.
The Boy was nowhere to be found.

I got to see where Rosie gets her gluten free meals.
Fascinating.
Actually...it was "just" a kitchen.

Hopefully The Boy enjoyed a fine dinner with some new friends...
and then walked over with them to
"The Main Event!"
this evening....

Rosie, D. and I walked over to a nearby hall
to watch a graduate student present
'The Lady with the Limp'
The true story of American Spy Virginia Hall during World War II.
She had a wooden leg-
that be why she
limped.
* Got it *

Afterwards, we walked over and
met up with some of their friends at the Snack Shop...
and had a really good time.
I do hope Rosie got enough studying in???
I think D. was distracting her.
Or...
perhaps it might have been me.
I blame D.
!

Then Rosie and I walked back to her dorm
where we said "Good Night!"
Then I walked back over to my little room.

* What a lovely day *

I do hope The Boy had a great day
making new friends,
walking,
experiencing the dining common,
walking,
eating,
walking,
talking,
walking
hearing God's Word,
walking
and laughing...

because I sure did all of that!
